Non-Markovian qubit dynamics in the presence of 1/f noise

چکیده
Within the lowest-order Born approximation, we calculate the exact dynamics of a qubit in the presence of 1/f noise, without Markov approximation. We show that the non-Markovian qubit timeevolution exhibits asymmetries and beatings that can be observed experimentally and cannot be explained within a Markovian theory. The present theory for 1/f noise is relevant for both spinand superconducting qubit realizations in solid-state devices, where 1/f noise is ubiquitous.

Effect of random telegraph noise on entanglement and nonlocality of a qubit-qutrit system
We study the evolution of entanglement and nonlocality of a non-interacting qubit-qutrit system under the effect of random telegraph noise (RTN) in independent and common environments in Markovian and non-Markovian regimes. We investigate the dynamics of qubit-qutrit system for different initial states. These systems could be existed in far astronomical objects. A monotone decay of the nonlocalit...
متن کاملNon-Markovian signatures in the current noise of a charge qubit
We investigate the current noise of a charge qubit coupled to a phonon bath in different parameter regimes. We find, using the theory of Full Counting Statistics of non-Markovian systems, that the current fluctuations are strongly influenced by memory effects generated from the interplay between quantum coherence and the dynamics of the phonon bath.

In this paper, we clarify the applicability of the super operator technique for describing the dissipative quantum dynamics of a system consists of two qubits coupled with a thermal bath at finite temperature. By using super operator technique, we solve the master equation and find the matrix elements of the density operator. Considering the qubits to be initially prepared in a general mixed st...
متن کاملEffects of Classical Environmental Noise on Entanglement and Quantum Discord Dynamics
We address the e®ect of classical noise on the dynamics of quantum correlations, entanglement and quantum discord (QD), of two non-interacting qubits initially prepared in a Bell state. The e®ect of noise is modeled by randomizing the single-qubit transition amplitudes. We address both static and dynamic environmental noise corresponding to interaction with separate and common baths in either M...
متن کاملStochastic Schrödinger Equations for Markovian and non-Markovian Cases
Firstly, the Markovian stochastic Schrödinger equations are presented, together with their connections with the theory of measurements in continuous time. Moreover, the stochastic evolution equations are translated into a simulation algorithm, which is illustrated by two concrete examples — the damped harmonic oscillator and a two-level atom with homodyne photodetection. Then, we consider how t...
